Booking and Payment

Reservation Confirmation: Your reservation is confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Full Payment for Day Trips is due at the time of booking, and deposits are required for Multi-Day Trips.

Payment Schedule: Full payment is required at the time of booking for day trips. For extended tours, a specified deposit is due upon booking, with the balance payable by a specified date. Deposits for Multi-Day Trips are fully refundable up to 30 days prior to departure.

Cancellation and Refund Policies

Cancellation by the Traveler:

  • For Day Trips: Up to 30 days from departure, a full refund is available. Within 29 days of departure, trips become non-refundable.
  • For Multi-Day Trips: Deposits are fully refundable up to 30 days prior to departure. Final payments are non-refundable 30-45 days from departure.

Cancellation with a Roommate:

  • If you book a trip with a friend and one of you needs to cancel, and your roommate has insurance, we recommend purchasing it for full protection.
  • In the event your roommate cancels with insurance, you can choose to cancel and receive a full refund or continue on the tour at the double rate.
  • Without insurance, you won’t be entitled to a full refund, and your status changes from a double to a single rate.

  • Optional Trip Cancellation Insurance is available for both Day Trips and Multi-Day Trips.

Cancellation by Unicorn Tours:

  • In unforeseen circumstances, Unicorn Tours reserves the right to cancel a trip. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.

Trip Interruption:

  • Unicorn Tours is not responsible for any expenses incurred due to trip interruption caused by factors beyond our control.

Trip Cancellation Option

  • Optional Unicorn Tours Motorcoach Trip Cancellation Insurance is available and recommended. Premium is due with your trip deposit.
  • Protect yourself against unexpected medical or other emergencies with trip cancellation insurance that will provide a full refund of the trip cost from 29 days up to the day of departure.
  • Reimbursements will also be made available for those sharing accommodations with the insured party provided they also purchased the Trip Cancellation Insurance.
  • If your roommate has purchased insurance, we suggest you purchase insurance so you are also protected and would receive a full refund if your roommate needs to cancel.
  • With insurance, if your roommate cancels you would have the option to also cancel and receive a full refund of your trip cost OR continue on the tour remaining at the double rate.
  • If your roommate has insurance and you do not, you would not be entitled to a full refund AND your status would be changed from a double to a single rate.
  • For tours that INCLUDE AIRFARE, Unicorn Tours offers alternative insurance by companies whose coverage varies. Call the office to request a brochure for details of coverage: 978-256-6559.

Day Trip Information

  • Full Payment for Day Trips is due at the time of booking – fully refundable if the trip is canceled.
  • Refunds for Day Trip cancellations are as follows:
    • Up to 30 days from departure – Full Refund
    • 29 days up to the day of departure – Non-Refundable
  • Unicorn Tours offers Trip Cancellation Insurance for Day Trips to protect against cancellation penalties. Premium is due at the time of booking and varies based on the trip’s cost.
  • 30 passengers are required for tours to be guaranteed departures.
  • All tours are fully escorted by a Professional Tour Director.
  • Transportation is by a 55-passenger luxury motorcoach.
  • Return check fee: $35.
  • Special Dietary or Handicap needs must be requested at the time of booking. Late notification (within 48 hours) may result in our inability to honor requests.
  • Unicorn Tours, Inc. shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, irregularity, or expenses arising from strikes, war, weather, or Acts of God.
  • Unicorn Tours, Inc. reserves the right to amend the itinerary at any time whenever transportation schedules or other factors make it necessary or advisable.

Multi-Day Trip Information

  • Deposit due with reservation – full refund if the trip is canceled.
  • Trip deposits are fully refundable up to 30 days prior to departure (date may vary by tour so check flyer).
  • Final Payment due 30-45 days from departure (date may vary by tour) – Non-Refundable.
  • Optional Trip Cancellation Insurance is available and due with deposit.
  • 30 passengers required for guaranteed departures.
  • Tour prices are quoted in US Dollars.
  • All tours are fully escorted by a Professional Tour Director.
  • Transportation is by a 55-passenger luxury motorcoach.
  • Luggage tags, itinerary with hotel contact numbers etc. provided 2 weeks prior to departure.
  • No open alcoholic beverages are allowed on the motorcoach.
  • Unicorn Tours, Inc. does not accept credit cards.
  • Return check fee: $35.
  • Special Dietary or Handicap needs must be requested at the time of booking. Late notification (within 48 hours) may result in our inability to honor requests.
  • Unicorn Tours, Inc. shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, irregularity, or expenses arising from strikes, war, weather, or Acts of God.
