Day Trip Information

  • Full Payment for Day Trips is due at time of booking - fully refundable if trip is canceled
  • Refunds for Day Trip cancellations are as follows:
    • Up to 30 days from departure – Full Refund
    • 29 days up to day of departure – Non-Refundable
    • Unicorn Tours offers Trip Cancellation Insurance for Day Trips to protect you against cancellation penalty. Premium is due at time of booking. Cost will vary with cost of trip and will be clearly stated on individual trip flyers.

Trip Cancellation Premium is due with payment at time of booking and guarantees full refund of trip cost (less insurance) at any time up to day of departure if you need to cancel your Day Trip.

  • Special Dietary or Handicap needs must be requested at time of booking.  Late notification (within 48 hours) may result in our inability to honor requests. 
  • Employees of Unicorn Tours, Inc., transportation companies, or other vendors are not allowed to physically assist or lift disabled passengers.
  • We suggest that passengers who require special assistance be accompanied by a traveling companion who is capable of providing the needed assistance.
  • Wheelchairs, scooters, and walkers can be stored in baggage compartment on bus.

Unicorn Tours, Inc. shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, irregularity, or expenses arising from strikes, war, weather, or Acts of God – hurricanes, snowstorms, tornadoes etc. that may cause disruption, change of advertised schedules and itinerary, cancellation, or strand individuals on motorcoach and/or air tours, including any ship/ferry transportation included in tour, or any other cause beyond its control.
 
Unicorn Tours, Inc. reserves the right to amend the itinerary at any time whenever transportation schedules or other factors make it necessary or advisable.  Restaurants and attractions stated in itinerary or similar will be provided.

Multi-Day Trip Information

  • Deposit due with reservation - full refund if trip is cancelled
  • Trip deposits are fully refundable up to 30 days prior to departure (date may vary by tour so check flyer)
  • Final Payment due 30-45 days from departure (date may very by tour) - Non-Refundable
  • Optional Trip Cancellation Insurance is available and due with deposit (details below)

Optional Unicorn Tours Motorcoach Trip Cancellation Insurance

Optional Unicorn Tours Motorcoach Trip Cancellation Insurance is available and recommended. Premium is due with your trip deposit. Protect yourself against unexpected medical or other emergencies with trip cancellation insurance that will provide a full refund of trip cost from 29 days up to day of departure.

Reimbursements will also be made available for those sharing accommodations with the insured party provided they also purchased the Trip Cancellation Insurance.

  • If your roommate has insurance and you do not, you would not be entitled to a full refund AND your status would be changed from a double to a single rate.

Canadian Travel Information

Passport/Passport Card Required for all Tours to Canada
Passports/Passport Cards are required for all tours to Canada. It is the responsibility of each individual passenger (US and Non-US Citizens) to know what proper legal documents are required for them to enter Canada and re-enter the USA. 

Passport Book vs Passport Card
It is recommended that US citizens have a passport book for all international travel that includes visiting Canada. The US passport card or an Enhanced Driver’s License (issued by some US states) are acceptable for land or marine travel but they cannot be used for international travel by air. Therefore, if for any unforeseen reason you need to return home by air after entering Canada by bus or ferry, a passport card may not allow you to board an airplane back to the US. A passport book is always best to cover all circumstances while traveling outside of the US.

 
DWI or Felony Conviction
Canada will deny entrance into their country for persons convicted of a DWI or a felony (no matter how long ago). Call your Passport Office for a complete list of reasons and countries that would deny entrance.

Any passenger denied entrance into Canada or re-entrance into the USA by Custom Authorities will be left at the border. Travel arrangements home and expenses will be the responsibility of the passenger. No portion of the unused tour will be reimbursed.

Passpot Expiration
Citizens of the USA (including children) require a valid Passport/Passport Card for all tours to Canada with an expiration date six months or more from the date that the tour re-enters the USA. 

Minors Traveling to Canada  
When traveling to Canada, requirements for minors under the age of 18 - unless accompanied by both parents:

  • Must be accompanied by a responsible adult
  • At border, the responsible adult must present to Custom Authorities, written authorization, signed before a notary, from the legal parent(s) or guardian
  • The minor must also have a valid passport/passport card

Parent traveling alone to Canada with minor child without other parent:
A parent traveling to Canada alone with a minor child must present to Custom Authorities at the border, a written authorization, signed before a notary, statement from the other parent or legal guardian allowing the child to leave the US and enter Canada.

Clubs and Organizations with FREE TRAVEL for Group Leader

If you are a member of a club or organization (either social or work-related), ask us about a custom-designed tour for 30 or more passengers.  Traveling together is a great fun and bonding experience for members.
 
Our tour planners will work with you to provide your group with a tour that is focused on their particular interests.  Group travel is the best way to receive all the benefits of “group buying power” to provide affordable motorcoach travel opportunities for your members. 
 
The “Group Leader” who is the liaison between your group and Unicorn Tours will receive free travel (Single accommodations) on any tour with a minimum of 30 paying passengers.
